Jessie Monville, known in the industry as the “Music Business Nerd,” blends a solid foundation in music business with specialized expertise in intellectual property law. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Music Business with a minor in Audio Fundamentals from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) and a law Master’s degree emphasis in Intellectual Property Law from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law (JD accredited) .

 

With previous experience in project management, artist management, general manager to a 2,000 capacity theater, various internships including a talent agent, law firm, and music publisher as well as hands on live production experience, this multifaceted background enables Jessie to offer comprehensive consulting services to artists, talent managers, law firms, and industry professionals alike.

 

Jessie’s services focus on safeguarding the creative and financial rights of talent through intellectual property protection, meticulous contract review and negotiations, and conflict resolution. Jessie is also dedicated to helping artists establish and manage their royalty accounts, conducting royalty audits, and providing hands-on guidance for tracking and monitoring royalty payments.
